A coordination meeting was held at the Gaza office of the Arab International Commission for the Reconstruction of Palestine to review the first phase of the project titled “Debris Clearance to Facilitate Access to Life-Saving Services in Khan Younis Governorate” and explore opportunities to develop and expand its interventions.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Palestinian Ministry of Public Works and Housing: Engineer Ruqayya Abu Al-Rub from the West Bank, who participated via Zoom, and Engineer Najla Hammad from the Gaza Strip. Also in attendance were Engineer Ahmed Al-Ghaf, representing the Arab International Commission for the Reconstruction of Palestine; Engineer Mohammed Abdel-Ghafour, representing Wafaa Al-Mohsenin Charity Association; and Mr. Saleh Al-Astal, Chairman of AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association.

Participants discussed field needs, intervention priorities, and mechanisms for strengthening coordination to reopen roads, facilitate civilian movement, and ensure that humanitarian teams and life-saving services can reach affected areas, while supporting early recovery and reconstruction efforts.
