AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association conducted a training programme for a group of field health educators aimed at strengthening community awareness of hygiene and public health practices within displacement sites in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.

The training was delivered as part of the Community Health Education Project for the Safe Management of Solid Waste in Displacement Camps and within the framework of the Association’s Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) activities.

During the training, participants acquired the knowledge and practical skills needed to conduct field-based awareness activities and communicate essential health guidance to displaced communities. These efforts contribute to reducing the health and environmental risks associated with waste accumulation and poor hygiene practices within displacement sites.

AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association continues to implement WASH interventions aimed at supporting displaced communities and promoting safe health and environmental practices amid the difficult conditions they are facing.
