Al Fajr Palestinian Youth Association (FPYA) welcomed a delegation from the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions (GFPTU) in the Southern Governorates. The delegation included Dr. Ashraf Muslim, Member of the General Secretariat of the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions and Head of the Educational Services Union, Mr. Zaki Khalil, Member of the General Secretariat of the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions and Head of the General Union of Textile and Garment Workers, and Mr. Nidal Matar, Representative of the Health Services Sector.
The delegation was received by Mr. Saleh Al Astal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Fajr Palestinian Youth Association. During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and strategic partnership, while exploring opportunities to develop and implement sustainable development projects that address the needs of workers and contribute to improving their economic and social conditions.
Both sides emphasized the importance of unifying efforts and building effective partnerships with local and international institutions to design and implement high-impact programs that enhance workers' resilience and expand their access to social protection, vocational training, and economic empowerment opportunities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their aspiration to further strengthen cooperation in support of sustainable development initiatives that serve the interests of Palestinian workers and contribute to the broader public good of Palestinian society.
