Under the auspices of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and with funding from the Wafaa Al-Muhsineen Foundation, the Al-Fajr Youth Association of Palestine inaugurated the “Torches of Hope” Football Tournament for Southern Clubs at the Al-Kneiss Stadium in Mawasi, Rafah. The tournament features top clubs from Khan Younis and Rafah and was attended by a large crowd. The opening matches saw Ma’an Club defeat Al-Istiqlal 2-1, while Al-Amal Club advanced by defeating Al-Awda 6-2. The tournament continues today, Wednesday, June 3rd, with two quarter-final matches. Al-Ataa Sports Club will face Shabab Khan Younis, and Jama’i Rafah will play against Khadamat Khan Younis.
