Implementation Details

AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association (FPYA), in partnership with Wafaa Al-Muhsineen Charitable Foundation, implemented the “Olive Trees: The Beginning of Recovery” initiative as part of ongoing efforts to support the agricultural sector, rehabilitate damaged farmland, and strengthen the resilience of farmers in the Gaza Strip.

The initiative reflects the national, economic, and environmental significance of the olive tree as an enduring symbol of resilience, deep-rooted connection to the land, and Palestinian identity. Olive trees also play an important role in supporting agricultural families’ livelihoods and strengthening local production.

The initiative contributes to replanting damaged agricultural land with olive trees, restoring vegetation cover, and encouraging farmers to continue cultivating their land. These efforts support agricultural recovery and promote long-term food security.

Al-Fajr Palestinian Youth Association reaffirms its commitment, in partnership with supporting organizations, to implementing agricultural and development initiatives that restore hope to affected communities, support farmers, and contribute to sustainable recovery rooted in the land while preserving Palestinian identity.
