Implementation Details
As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen food security and respond to growing humanitarian needs, Al-Fajr Palestinian Youth Association implemented a project to install and operate a semi-automatic oven at Al-Fajr Central Kitchen in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis.
The project aims to expand the free production and distribution of ready-to-eat bread to displaced families and help meet their daily bread needs amid difficult living conditions and shortages of food and energy supplies.
The oven currently produces approximately 1,500 loaves per day, which are distributed daily to displaced families across the area extending from Street 5 to Al-Istabl in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis.
This project was made possible through the generous support of the Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA) and World Central Kitchen (WCK), helping expand the food assistance response and reach a greater number of the most vulnerable families.
AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to both supporting organizations and reaffirms its commitment to continuing humanitarian interventions that alleviate the suffering of displaced families and strengthen their resilience.
