Implementation Details
As part of humanitarian efforts to support vulnerable families and alleviate their hardship amid the difficult conditions in the Gaza Strip, a project was implemented to distribute Qurbani meat to families in greatest need.
The project was carried out through joint cooperation between the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites and the Palestine Red Crescent Society, in partnership with Al-Fajr Palestinian Youth Association. The distribution process was organised to ensure that assistance reached beneficiary families effectively, fairly, and in a manner that preserved their dignity.
The project aims to provide direct food assistance, help meet some of the essential needs of vulnerable families, and promote the values of solidarity, mutual support, and community cooperation between Arab and Palestinian institutions.
The management of AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association expressed its sincere appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, in recognition of the Kingdom’s continued humanitarian support for the Palestinian people and its contribution to meeting families’ essential needs and strengthening their resilience.
The Association emphasised that this initiative represents a genuine model of joint humanitarian action and cooperation between Arab and Palestinian institutions, contributing to a stronger humanitarian response and improved access to the most vulnerable groups.
The Association also extended its appreciation to the management and staff of the Palestine Red Crescent Society, commending their continued efforts to serve the Palestinian people and provide essential humanitarian assistance.
