2025/04/08
Project Summary
AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association (FPYA), with support from the Human Endowment Foundation for Education, Culture and Solidarity, established two new shelters to accommodate displaced and conflict-affected families from Rafah, providing a safe environment that safeguards their privacy and dignity.
Implementation Details
In response to the severe humanitarian conditions facing families forcibly displaced from Rafah, AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association (FPYA), with generous support from the Human Endowment Foundation for Education, Culture and Solidarity, implemented a project to establish the “AlFajr 2” and “Al-Fajr 3” shelters, providing affected families with safe and suitable accommodation.
The two shelters were equipped to help meet families’ essential needs while ensuring privacy, protection and minimum standards of dignified living amid continued displacement, worsening humanitarian conditions and limited access to adequate shelter.
This project forms part of FPYA’s ongoing efforts to respond to the needs of displaced families, alleviate their suffering and strengthen their ability to cope with these challenging circumstances in cooperation with humanitarian organizations and supporting partners.
The Association reaffirmed its belief that solidarity and collective action can make a meaningful difference in the lives of affected families. It also expressed its appreciation to the Human Endowment Foundation for Education, Culture and Solidarity and to everyone who supported and contributed to this humanitarian intervention.
