As part of its ongoing efforts to address urgent humanitarian needs, AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association, in partnership with the Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA), implemented an emergency intervention to support families affected by the severe weather system, which flooded and damaged thousands of tents.

Under its emergency and rapid-response plan, the Association responded to 1,443 appeals. Each beneficiary family received a comprehensive emergency kit containing a tent, blankets, a dignity kit, and fortified biscuits. This assistance contributed to meeting some of the families’ most essential needs and strengthened their ability to cope with the difficult weather and humanitarian conditions.

The response was implemented based on received appeals and identified urgent humanitarian needs, prioritizing families whose tents were damaged and who had become increasingly exposed to rain and cold weather. The intervention aimed to provide greater protection and safety while alleviating their hardship.
