Project Summary
Al Fajr Palestinian Youth Association continues to implement field cleaning activities under the Environmental and Public Health Improvement Project, in accordance with a structured operational plan aimed at enhancing public cleanliness and reducing environmental and public health risks in the targeted areas of Khan Younis Governorate.
Implementation Details
The sanitation teams carry out their activities on a daily basis according to a structured field deployment plan covering areas from west to east, ensuring systematic and balanced access to streets and residential blocks. This approach enhances the efficiency of cleaning services and enables a more effective response to the needs of the local community.
The activities included the removal of solid waste and accumulated debris, as well as the cleaning of roadsides and streets, contributing to an improved public environment, reducing sources of pollution, and mitigating public health risks associated with waste accumulation, particularly amid the current humanitarian situation.
The project is implemented with the generous support of the Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA), as part of a partnership aimed at strengthening essential services and improving environmental and public health conditions for local communities across the Gaza Strip.
Al Fajr Palestinian Youth Association remains committed to the continued implementation of the project's activities in accordance with the approved operational plan, ensuring the sustainability of sanitation services, improving the surrounding environment, and contributing to a cleaner, healthier, and safer living environment for residents in the targeted areas.
