AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association (FPYA) implements debris Debris Clearance and Road Clearance Projects and road clearance and rehabilitation projects across Khan Younis Governorate in response to the extensive damage to infrastructure and residential communities. These projects aim to improve safe access to affected areas and facilitate the return of families to their neighbourhoods.
Activities include removing debris, reopening main and secondary roads, levelling land, and clearing obstacles that restrict the movement of residents and vehicles. These interventions also enable ambulance and civil defence teams, humanitarian personnel, and essential service providers to reach affected communities more quickly and safely.
FPYA implements these projects in coordination with municipalities and relevant authorities and with support from its local and international partners, as part of broader early recovery efforts to rehabilitate affected areas and strengthen the resilience of Palestinian communities.
