Implementation Details

AlFajr Palestinian Youth Association (FPYA) implemented the “Al-Matahen Bakery” project as part of the activities of the project to strengthen displacement site management in northeastern Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. The project aims to support displaced families and improve their access to bread-baking services amid challenging humanitarian and living conditions.

The project responds to the needs expressed by residents of displacement sites, particularly in light of rising fuel costs and limited access to baking services, which place additional burdens on displaced and crisis-affected families.

The “Al-Matahen Bakery” project provides beneficiaries with safe and organized baking services, reduces their daily expenses, and strengthens their ability to meet their basic food needs with dignity.

Al-Fajr Palestinian Youth Association reaffirms its commitment to implementing humanitarian and community-based initiatives that improve living conditions in displacement sites, strengthen residents’ participation in identifying their needs, and support the development of practical and sustainable solutions.
