Al-Fajr Palestinian Youth Association (FPYA) announces its need to recruit:
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Officer (MEAL Officer)
Work Location: Gaza Strip
Type of Employment: Part-time
Contract Duration: Subject to the project duration and availability of funding
FPYA seeks to recruit a highly qualified and experienced professional to join its team. The MEAL Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning systems to ensure the quality of programs and projects and to achieve the intended impact in accordance with humanitarian standards and donor requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and implement project-specific monitoring and evaluation plans and tools.
Monitor field activities and ensure the quality and accuracy of data.
Collect and analyze data and prepare periodic and final reports.
Develop complaints, accountability and beneficiary feedback mechanisms.
Contribute to the preparation of various studies and assessments, including Baseline, Midline and Endline assessments.
Prepare dashboards, success stories and lessons learned.
Manage databases and maintain documents and reports in an organized manner.
Coordinate continuously with project teams to improve performance and measure impact.
Ensure compliance with donor requirements and humanitarian standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Statistics, Information Systems, Social Sciences, or any related field.
At least 3 years of practical experience in Monitoring and Evaluation within NGOs or humanitarian organizations.
Experience in using data collection and analysis tools, such as:
Kobo Toolbox, Excel, Power BI, SPSS and ODK
Strong skills in report preparation, analysis and writing outputs.
Good knowledge of accountability principles, humanitarian standards and data management.
Ability to work under pressure and manage tasks efficiently.
Excellent command of Arabic and English, spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with international organizations and funded projects.
Knowledge of protection principles and Safeguarding policies.
Experience in emergency and humanitarian response projects.
