Job Vacancy: Field Researcher

Al Fajr Palestinian Youth Association announces its need to recruit Field Researchers to work within its field activities and projects in the Gaza Strip.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect data from the field according to the approved forms.
• Conduct interviews with beneficiaries accurately and impartially.
• Document information and submit daily reports.
• Work as part of the field team and coordinate with supervisors.
• Maintain the confidentiality of data and information.
• Adhere to humanitarian principles and non-discrimination.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Previous experience in fieldwork or data collection.
• Experience in using computer programs related to data collection and report preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to use smartphones and electronic data collection applications such as KoboToolbox or ODK.
• Excellent command of Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Commitment, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
